Clive Vale's first game of the season visiting Westfield brought sun and a winning start.

Setting a total of 191 thanks to a solid 50 not out from skipper Darren Mortimer, it seemed a strong score on a very soft wicket. This proved to be the case as Clive Vale set about the Westfield batsmen confidently.

Mortimer 3-13 and Wickens 3-29 proved too much. Adam Wickens also took 2 catches off Matt Bowles's bowling helping him to figures of 3-23 finishing the game after only 34 overs.
